As a result of the pandemic that affected the entire world, we volunteered with a team formed from professional groups such as public health experts and IT specialists. We assisted government institutions such as the Prime Ministry crisis desk, scientific boards, and contact tracing teams in providing technological infrastructure and creating management frameworks.
In this context, countless meetings were attended, and a phone application that enabled contact tracing was developed in approximately 5 days. It was uploaded to the Google Play Store and integrated into the main servers of the TRNC Prime Ministry completely free of charge, with a protocol signed. Subsequently, various applications, including ADAPASS, were also developed completely free of charge. Statistical data tracking and input into the system were carried out personally by our volunteer team members, and today, the volunteer support in this area continues. As of May 2023, our volunteer team member has been responsible for keeping all statistical data on behalf of the TRNC Ministry of Health.
