On June 18, 2025, at around 15:00, our SAT-DER logistics and response teams quickly reached the forest fire that broke out in the Yamaçköy area between Tirmen and Mallıdağ. The Civil Disaster Response Team Association (SAT-DER) and the Cyprus Turkish Search and Rescue Association coordinated closely on-site with the Forestry Department and law enforcement agencies to carry out firefighting operations.
Thanks to the Mobile Logistics & Support Vehicle and the Firefighting Response Vehicle used by our logistics and response teams in the fire zone, we were able to organize quickly and initiate the first response efforts. After the fire was brought under control at 19:30, we carried out cooling operations to ensure full containment.
