AVTEPE-KURUOVA FIRE

On May 23, 2025, while we, as the Civil Disaster Response Team Association (Sivil Afet Timi Derneği), were conducting the third session of our regional training at the Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality, we received news of a wildfire breaking out in the Avtepe-Kuruova area.

YAMAÇKÖY FIRE

On June 18, 2025, at around 15:00, our SAT-DER logistics and response teams quickly reached the forest fire that broke out in the Yamaçköy area between Tirmen and Mallıdağ. The Civil Disaster Response Team Association (SAT-DER) and the Cyprus Turkish Search and Rescue Association

BAGLIKOY FIRE

The fire that started in Bağlıköy in the morning was controlled after great efforts. From the very first moment, our team's western region volunteers integrated with the Forestry Department and firefighting teams to participate in the intervention efforts.

MERSINLIK CAMPING AREA FIRE

Our trained volunteer team responded to the fire that broke out at the Mersinlikcamping area by arriving at the scene and collaborating with the 'forestry department' and 'civil defense' Organization.

BEYKOY FIRE

In response to the risk of the fire spreading from the Beyköy Shooting Range area to the Alevkayası forested region, our Civil Disaster Team's volunteer wildfire response unit arrived at the scene and integrated with the Forestry Department Directorate. They remained stationed in the area, prepared to respond if needed.

YESILIRMAK FOREST FIRE

As a result of the interventions carried out over the years by the Civil Disaster Team's volunteer disaster efforts, we were assigned by the 'forestry department' to the most critical areas of the fire.

ISIAS HOTEL

On February 6, following the devastating earthquake in Turkey, a 12-member volunteer team was deployed for response efforts. In a very short time, our volunteer team mobilized through its internal mechanisms, took necessary initiatives, and reached the disaster site on February 7.

MERSINLIK FOREST FIRE

A forest fire that started at the summit of Ağıllar village escalated uncontrollably, and a team of approximately 20 people was sent to the area to intervene. In this context, coordination was established with the Forestry Department, and thanks to the cooperation of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality teams, the road between Mersinlik-Ardağan
